Happy the home that welcomes You,
Lord Jesus,
Truest of friends, most honored guest of all,
Where hearts and eyes are bright with joy to greet You,
And eager voices answer to Your call.

Happy the home where man and wife together
Are of one mind believing in Your love:
O loving Friend of children,
Where they are given to You with hands of prayer.

Happy the home where each one serves You, lowly,
Whatever his appointed work may be,
Till every common task seems great and holy
When it is done, O Lord, as unto Thee.
