SDA Hymnal 174
Star of Our Hope
Words: [unclear]Music: [unclear]Tune: [unclear]7.6.7.6.D
1Star of our hope! He'll soon appear,
The last loud trumpet speaks Him near;
Hail Him, all saints, from pole to pole,
How welcome to the faithful soul!
2From heaven angelic voices sound:
Behold the Lord with glory crowned,
And in His high celestial glory
The saints rejoice, they sing, and shout.
3The grave yields up its precious trust,
Which long has slumbered in the dust,
Re-splendent saints from their tomb
To meet Him in their Savior's throne.
4Descending with His azure throne,
He claims the kingdom for His own;
The saints rejoice and triumph ring,
And hail Him their triumphant King.
