Ere long we hope again to go
1Ere long we hope again to go, To meet the ones we love so dear; Our grass, once more, above the grave, From folly and from sin to save.
2May the present truth, which you have heard, The lessons of thy holy word, Dwell in our inmost souls to keep, And all our souls from error keep.
3Oh! may the influence of this day Long as our memory with us stay, Till as an angel guardian prove, To guide us to our home above.
