God Bless and Keep Thee

1God bless and keep thee through the coming year,
May all thy pathway bright and peaceful be;
Through sunshine or through shadow, hope or fear,
May Jesus walk beside and comfort thee.

2God grant thee grace to meet each day's demand
With courage strong and purpose true and high;
May wisdom guide thee with her gentle hand,
And mercy's arms be ever standing by.

3God grant thy heart may sing through all the days,
Though clouds may gather and the way be long;
Till thou shalt join the everlasting praise,
And blend thy voice with heaven's triumphant song.
