Christ in Song 277
Thy Righteousness
Words: Anon
1Thy righteousness, O God, reaches high,
Thou who hast done great things;
O God, who is like unto thee?
For great are all thy works.
2Thou hast shown me great and severe troubles,
But thou wilt revive me again;
Thou wilt bring me up again from the depths,
And wilt increase my greatness.
3Thou wilt comfort me on every side,
I will also praise thee with psaltery;
Even thy truth, O my God,
I will sing with the harp.
4My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing,
And my soul which thou hast redeemed;
My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness,
All the day long shall I praise thee.
