Christ in Song 270

I'll Praise

Words: Anon

Studio

1I'll praise thee, Lord, with all my heart,
Before thy people will I sing;
I'll worship toward thy holy place,
And to thy name thanksgiving bring.

2I'll praise thee for thy truthfulness,
And for thy loving kindness free;
For thou hast magnified thy word
Above all thy great name to me.

3When I cried thou didst answer me,
And with strength my soul inspire;
All the kings of earth shall praise thee,
When they hear of thy desire.

4Yea, they shall sing of thy ways,
For great is thy glory, Lord;
Though the Lord be high, yet hath he
Respect unto the lowly word.
