#135None of Self and All of Thee

1
O, the bit - ter pain and sor - row That a time could ev - er be, When I proud - ly said to Jesus, 'All of self, and none of thee;' And I grok - en, spit - it - ed, 'None of self and all of thee.'
2
Yet he found me; I beheld him Bleeding on th' accursed tree; And my wist - ful heart said faint - ly, 'Some of self and some of thee.'
3
Day by day his tender mercy, Healing, help - ing, full and free, Sweet and strong, and ah! so patient, Brought me low - er while it whispered, 'Less of self and more of thee.'
4
High - er than the high - est heavens, Deep - er than the deep - est sea, Lord, thy love at last has conquered: 'None of self and all of thee.'
